The family program began Thursday
night with a visit to the
Flying W Ranch. It was a full evening
of eating ‘ol west “vittles” and listening to the Flying
W Wranglers sing cowboy songs. They were polished and hilarious. |

Friday afternoon the family program
went to
Glen Eyrie Castle for an English Tea and a tour of
the 800-acre estate. It is nestled in the foothills of the
Rockies. The castle is a 65-room structure situated on beautiful
grounds. The English Tea was served in a Victorian setting. Great
fun reported by all who went.

Saturday afternoon we toured the
U.S.
Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. U.S. athletes
train here for the Olympic games. The facility is often busy
with competitions leading up to Olympic Trials. |
