The 2004 conference was hosted by the Ontario VHF Association (VE3VHF) and the Toronto VHF Society (VE3ONT).  The conference president was Peter Shilton, VE3AX, and vice-president Bob Morton VE3BFM.   They, along with many on their team put on a fun, informative, and entertaining conference for society members to enjoy.

The conference was blessed with BEAUTIFUL weather.  Temperatures near Lake Ontario were perfect!  148 hams registered for the conference and 166 attended the banquet.  Family program events were so popular that short-notice transportation was coordinated to accommodate additional participants.  Interesting program content, well-run antenna range and noise figure tables, and fine conversations in the Party Suite made for a great event.

Peter Shilton, VE3AX and Bob Morton, VE3BFM give appreciative thanks to the following team members who helped make the Toronto conference such a success.

Peter Shilton, VE3AX Conference Chairman/Registration

Bob Morton, VE3BFM Technical Program/NF/Antenna Gain
Dana Shtun, VE3DSS Prize Chairman
Tom Richmond, VE3IEY Web Site/Promotion/Accounting
Heather Shilton, VE3EMS Family Program

Al Bonner, VE3FY Hospitality Suite
Norm Freidin, VE3CZI Proceedings Chairman

Peel ARC and the Mississauga ARC assisted with A/V setups, the antenna test range, registration, talk-in station and drivers for the Thursday early arrivers events.
