Mary Calhoun and Linda Calhoun, were our Family Program hosts. They worked hard to pick interesting and fun aspects of Tulsa to share with our visiting family members. Family Program fees were VERY reasonable this year.

Forty-Nine folks headed to Discoveryland for a fine dinner and evening of entertainment. Discoveryland is the national home of Rogers and Hammerstein's production of "Oklahoma!". The Oklahoma Cattleman's Association served up a Ranch Dinner for us before we sat down to enjoy Seven Brides for Seven Brothers presented live outdoors under the stars.

Friday, July 26, 2003 We spent the morning enjoying the Tulsa Zoo which has a brand new penguin exhibit. As the day heated up, we set out for the brand new Tulsa Aquarium. With over 200 exhibits, and more than one million gallons of water; there was plenty to "sea" at the Oklahoma Aquarium.

We spent Saturday visiting two of the nations best art museums--the Gilcrease Museum and the Philbrook Museum of Art. Thomas Gilcrease amassed a great collection of art from America's West. There are many exhibitions of Frederick Remington's work on display at the museum. The dream of benefactors Waite and Genevieve Phillips (Phillips Petroleum Co.), to create an art center for Tulsa, has established Philbrook as one of America's finest art museums.
