Region 7 Canoe Base Patches (5)

NBW-29 RED T GLD R WHT 76mm round; ORG fdl; NORTHERN WISCONSIN NATIONAL HIGH ADVENTURE BASE

This patch was used mid-1981 - 1983. Two varieties have been noted—-"a" No Twill (NT) background with Gold lockstitch and "b" Twill Right Medium TRM) with Orange lockstitch. Collecting this distinction is up to you.

NBW-30 RED T GLD R WHT 86mm round; ORG fdl; NORTHERN WISCONSIN NATIONAL HIGH ADVENTURE BASE

1981, probably only first half. This patch preceeded the NBW-29. Incidentally, these two patches, preceeded NBW-18 and NBW-19 as the "standard" patch.

1978-1980    TLR

NBW-32a RED T YEL R WHT 102mm round; GLD fdl; NORTHERN WISCONSIN NATIONAL HIGH ADVENTURE BASE WINTER EXPEDITION

1981-1983   Deep red TLM background, dull brown snowhoe, plastic back, 12mm fdl, and white lockstitch on rolled edge.

NBW-32b RED T YEL R WHT 102mm round; GLD fdl; NORTHERN WISCONSIN NATIONAL HIGH ADVENTURE BASE WINTER EXPEDITION

1984-1985   This variation has a faded red TLS background, computer designed; cloth back; well defined fdl 13mm tall and a bright brown snowshoe. After the base closed, the remaining stock of these patches was bought up and is being trickled into the market to this day.

NBW-40a RED T ORG R WHT 72x90mm loaf shape; GLD mylar ¹7¹ and paddles; SIL mylar canoe; CANOE BASE B.S.A.
