1976 Memories:
I remember the "Haunted Lodge" on Wednesday nights. I know it was put on at least twice. Pelican Potter was Master of Ceremonies. Shane Bradley rigged pyrotechnics into the tops of the chandeliers. They had great music playing. I forget what the story was on the "haunted" part.
At the waterfront it was Upland Plovers = Swimmers. "Hello boys. Hello to you"
Don Keel (the piece of french toast)
The Great Spode.
Miss Northwoods Contest. Master of Ceremonies--Tom Armandes. In the blurry photo below, I believe it is (l to r) Walt Marti, Don Sandell, Scott Johnson ??, Mike Louise, Tony Korwin, and Tom Amandes. Click on image for bigger jpeg.
July 4th, 1976 -- The Bicentennial had the most amazing Aurora Borealis for a natural "fireworks" that night. Huge rushing sheets of white up to the apex above us.
