CONSERVATION CAMP REGION SEVEN CANOE BASE In about 1967, the Canoe Base
muscled in on what had been the Eagle Scout Forestry Camp and ran a
"conservation camp" open to all in the region. ESFC had been a special camp
for Wisconsin Eagle Scouts--a pretty exclusive opportunity! Within just a
year or two, the Conservation Camp activity was discontinued. The Ecologist
