Fela Kuti was from Nigeria.  This was recorded in 1972 but it sure doesn't sound that old to me.  He plays Saxaphone, Piano, and sings.

Widespread Panic is kinda like a cross between the Marhall Tucker Band and the Grateful Dead.  Fine musicians.

Radiohead "Kid A" is the kind of new music that assures me that not ALL new music is crap.

Heidi Berry is from England.  She started on the Creation label and ended on the 4AD label.

Moby  "Porcelain" -- listen to the piano phrasing and hesitation.

Wild Strawberries are from Vancouver but seemed to have disbanded.  This was from the "Lilith Fair Sampler #2".

"Amnesia", "Hurricane", and "In a Room" are examples of fine British Pop from the past few years.  I like the horns in the 2nd half of "In a Room".  I like the line in "Amnesia":  "Do you suffer from long-term memory loss?  I don't remember."

Echo & the Bunnymen: this is from 1983 on "Ocean Rain".

"The Leeshore" is a 1977 live recording of this song penned in 1972.  I really like Russell Kunkel's drumming.  Plus, I really like the lyrics.

Blue Man Group is apparently like nothing else you've ever experienced.  This music is only an audio aspect of their multi-dimensional art.
